Heritage Crafts Association: Grant for endangered craft skills

Heritage Crafts Association: Grant for endangered craft skills

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded one of nine grants from the Heritage Crafts Association to help save endangered crafts from extinction.

Over the next few months Monica will be sharing her willow skeining and weaving knowledge with Melissa, who will be documenting the experience along the way.

Willow skeining is currently on the HCA’s red list of endangered craft, with only a few known practitioners currently making in the U.K.

A huge thank you to Heritage Crafts Association for giving us this opportunity to pass on our love of this endangered craft skill.
