About the piece: Solstice features two figures carved from spalted sycamore leaning into one another atop an oak peninsular. This tender moment is encircled by the warmth of a setting sun brass hoop, slipping below an elegant horizon line.  

Studio Logan Howes is a collaboration between artists Florence Logan and Ruth Howes using offcuts from par-avion co.'s "pi collection" to create moments of solitude in huge environments.  Look out for more unique pieces from this "zero waste" collection.
